THE ST. JOHN'S SWIMMING POOL

The Dolphin Swimming Club home pool is located at St. John’s College off Bethel Avenue in Stapledon Gardens. The outdoor eight lane 25 meter competition pool has a depth ranging from 4 to 12 feet and is equipped with competition blocks, backstroke flags and lane lines. The pool is heated during the winter months and is equipped with both submerged and elevated spotlights to accommodate evening practices.

The complex has separate toilets and changing facilities for boys and girls. The pool area also has covered tiered bleachers to allow seating for parents and supporters. The pool is also equiped with a Colorado electronic Timing System during competitions.

Swimming practices are also scheduled to be held at the Betty Kelly Kenning Aquatic Center twice weekly in the spring to allow members to gain valuable practice experience in the Olympic size long course (50 meter) competition pool.
