The affairs of The Dolphin Swimming Club are managed by a council of 7 members each serving a minimum term of 2 years. The council members are elected and appointed pursuant to the provision of The Dolphin Swimming Club Constitution and are known collectively as The Dolphin Swimming Club Council (Council). The officers of the Club consist of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Secretary and Assistant Secretary. The seventh member serves as an alternate to the aforesaid officers (except for the President, Vice President and Treasurer). The next election is due to be held at the Annual General Meeting in October/November of 2005.

Due to the non-profit status of The Dolphin Swimming Club all members of the Council serve as volunteers. Parents and supporters of the sport are encouraged to take office and embrace the opportunity to assist the Club in realizing its goals.
